Are you ready for it to be 6°c warmer?

Well i'm not.. 6° might sound like nothing but the effects that it would have WILL inevitably affect us all.

CO2 Emissions rose by 29% between 2000 and 2009, when it was suppose to go down, causing this prediction. If we keep at this rate then 6° will be nothing compared to the rise in temperature. We already hit the point of no return. The only thing left for us to do now is drastically change our carbon usage to bring the number from 6° to 2°. But no matter what happens, Global Warming is here. NOW...

Debunking 2012

I just read the worst article EVER! http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/afp-nasa-2012-myths.html

It's about the movie 2012 and how NASA is trying to factualize it's fiction. However, they do a really bad job at it. First they talk about some crazy theory that our planet will collide with some planet X hidden somewhere. Then they talk about the Mayan calender: "NASA insisted the Mayan calendar in fact does not end on December 21, 2012, as another period begins immediately afterward. And it said there are no planetary alignments on the horizon for the next few decades. "

Umm sorry kids, nice try but this doesn't say anything about the beginning of the end.

Effects of Global Warming.. Stinging Jellies

So I've officially decided to comment on everything I see, feel, read about the effects of Global Warming and post them for you all to see. (hopefully I keep this up)

Because the oceans are getting warmer, different species are migrating to areas never seen before. An abundance of Jellyfish are being found in various areas where fishermen normally fish, causing hardship on the fishermen returning with no catch for the day.

The article below references that overfishing among other things could have caused the jellies to over-populate and the warming of the tides to move them closer to shores.

So next time you're at the beach, watch out for the stinging jellies!
